Our events are special because of the relationships gained from these events and the monies raised to help support the growing healthcare needs of cancer patients in our region. The Cancer Outreach Foundation sponsors special events in support of our programs and services.

Dr. Greg Eades Memorial Golf Tournament
Good times, great awards, and plentiful food abound in this annual event. More than 100 golfers participate in one of the most meaningful tournaments in the area. The event is normally held during the month of August at Clear Creek Golf Course.

Russell H. Starnes Memorial Golf Tournament
Held annually in memory of Russell H. Starnes, this one day tournament is held at Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon. Golfers enjoy food, good times and awards at this event held during the month of May.

Car Show
Automobile enthusiasts will enjoy this annual Fall event. The car show features a variety of antique cars, hot rods and new vehicles - something for everyone. Patrons will also enjoy music, good food and raffles.

Gala of Hope
An elegant evening of entertainment and purpose. The Gala of Hope offers both a silent and live auction with items ranging from vacations to jewelry to art, donated by various individuals and businesses who support the Foundation.

Poker Run
Over 100 motorcycle enthusiasts participate in this benefit ride which provides spectacular views of the fall foliage and scenery throughout the mountains of Southwest Virginia. The annual Poker Run is sponsored by the Black Wolf Hog Chapter 1995 each October.
